Sized for the room, not for the sale
Mildura summers are unforgiving and an undersized unit will run flat out all day and never get there. We size to the room - orientation, ceiling height, insulation, window area and how you actually use the space - and tell you honestly when a cheaper unit will do the job.
Licensed to handle refrigerant
Any work involving refrigerant gas legally requires a refrigerant handling licence. We hold ARC authorisation AU54077. If someone quotes you an air conditioning install and cannot give you a licence number, that is the warning sign.
The install is the part that lasts
Most air conditioning problems we get called to are installation problems, not unit problems - poor drainage, unsupported pipework, a condenser sitting somewhere it cannot breathe. Look at the photos on this page. Straight conduit, proper brackets, and drains that run where they should is what you are paying for.
Questions people actually ask
How much does a split system installation cost?
It depends on the size of the unit and how hard the run is - a back-to-back install on an external wall is a very different job to a long pipe run through a roof cavity. Quotes are free and we will price the whole job before we start, so there are no surprises on the invoice.
Can you install an air conditioner I bought myself?
Yes. Plenty of people buy the unit on sale and just want it installed properly. We will tell you up front if the unit you have bought is the wrong size for the room.
Do you service and re-gas existing units?
Yes - servicing, fault finding, re-gassing and repairs on existing systems, whether or not we installed them.
What brands do you install?
All major brands. We regularly install Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Samsung, Kaden and others. If you have a preference we will work with it.
Do you do ducted systems?
Yes, including full roof-space installs - plenum, ducting, outlets and controller.
